Sorry 'bout that, thought with the NHL 2006 redirect pointing at the NHL series page, that was where it should be pointing.
However, you're absolutely right, the NHL 2006 page is nothing to do with the NHL 2K6. I'll start a stub article for it. --OscarTheCattalk

Hi, good catch on the Doom II page. However, if you could provide edit summaries in the future, that would be awesome; it really helps summarize the changelog so other people can trace the evolution of the article better. If you create an account (and I'm not trying to pressure you into doing so; I miss my days as an anon), there's a user script that constantly reminds you if you forget an edit summary. Happy hunting!
