[edit] Cheese (recreational drug) edits

Thank you for contributing to the article on "cheese" heroin. For now, I have removed your paragraph about Lauren Paulson; Wikipedia relies on material from published sources, and so far, the sources only say that it is believed she died of an overdose — they have not yet said what the drug in question might have been, nor even confirmed it as an overdose.

Also, although it may seem cold, at some point soon we will probably have to stop listing individual names in the article because the list would turn into a memorial; even though memorials are important in life, they're not part of Wikipedia's purpose (see "Wikipedia is not a memorial"). The names presently in the article were listed to show that the topic of cheese heroin is notable enough to have an article. Even those names may at some point be taken out, except for the ones that led to other major events, such as community rallying. At any rate, I'm watching the news for more information on Ms. Paulson and on the other recent death said to be from cheeze (Keridma Godina) and will keep reviewing whether they belong in the article. Update: Just so you know ... now that I'm home from work I was able to read the blog entry Lauren Paulson's mother posted, and I'm aware that her mother does say it appears to be a cheeze overdose. So long as it remains only in that blog message, it will not meet Wikipedia's standards for reliable sources because most blogs do not meet that standard. If at some point her mother makes this statement to the media (TV, newspapers, etc.), then it will meet at least that standard, though it still might not be included in the article for the reason I mentioned before. Wanted to let you know in case you were wondering why I was not considering that statement to be a "published source." Lawikitejana 22:16, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
