I haven't read what you are referring to but, if someone keeps deleting it, it sounds like they don't like supremist references as they may be one. They don't like anyone different than them (of course, then why are they reading comics as nowadays there are multi-national heros all over!).
Try to think of the Vulcan IDIC from Star Trek - Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations - that is tolerance described! If everyone were the same - borrrrring! Tolerance doesn't mean you 'love' the differences, just that you accept them as a difference.
