[edit] Adding articles to categories
Articles for inclusion to a category should not be directly added via the Category edit page. The correct way to do this is to insert a "[[Category:category name]]" link at the bottom of the edit page for the article you intend to include. This will automatically place the article into the intended category if it exists.Misterkillboy 05:32, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Categories
Hi. I see you've been busy adding people articles to categories relating to religion and ethnicity. Please ensure that there is cited information in the text of the article for each category you add. Examples where this appears not to have happened include [1], [2], [3], but there appear to be many more. Unfortunately, where there is no reference or explanation for these categories, they are likely to need to be removed. Welcome to Wikipedia, and I hope that you are not turned away by much of this work being undone for the time being. --Scott Davis Talk 05:49, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
