[edit] Hi There Jackp

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Melbourne, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you.

[edit] Please stop

You said: Please stop removing helpful information, I’m trying to get articles into shape and have them the way they should be, but then you remove the edits (as usual) for some stupid, immature reason…either you don’t care about Wikipedia or you have something against me. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then see how you removed all that helpful content from the The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert. 203.57.68.13 09:45, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Jackp, you and all your socks have been indefinitely blocked from wikipedia for disruption, failure to understand what good editing is, and general incessant cluelessness.
Myself and others will continue to remove your posts (you've no doubt noticed they have been removed by various people). If others' think that the posts are worthwhile, then they can re-revert them themselves. Please find something else to with your time. --Merbabu 09:54, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Transport in Cyprus, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Merbabu 06:15, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] and again

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Rabbits in Australia, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. --Merbabu 06:16, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sources

Hi Jackp, please provide sources for your edits. Remember that there should be no no original research. --Merbabu 14:14, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

I removed a number of your edits that are clearly original research and personal opinions. No references provided. Please provide references as requested by wikipedia policy, or I will need to take matter further. thanks --Merbabu 16:57, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unblock

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "This block is extremly unfair. I was blocked for adding photos to articles without a disclaimer, and was not warned twice under the account Angel2001. I now add the usual disclaimer whenever I edit, and my edits continue to be constructive and helpful, rather than vandilism. If the block expire time could be reduced, that would be appreciated."

Decline reason: "Not unfair at all Jackp. — Jmlk17 06:36, 11 September 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

This is a sock of banned User:Jackp. --Merbabu 05:37, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Umm who :/?

[edit] Unblock request.

{{unblock|This IP address is no longer used by the banned user jackp. It seems to be consistantly linked to my month-old net account.
I am unable to find an email link to the admin (stephen) who banned it, and of course, can't edit/add-to his talk page while banned.
Given the... errr, idiocy of user jackp, I assume there would be a fair bit of mistrust of this request, so if there is a way of blocking contribs to articles, but allowing additions to article-discussion and usertalk pages until the ban ends in 5 months, I would be happy for that compromise. -- Paul.}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Unblocked by original admin

Request handled by: SQL(Query Me!) 12:53, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

It's kinda frustrating when you start following the links in the blocked-user notice and everything it says to do is impossible. Wait out the ban, it's only 48 hours... Well, no, it's six months, five left.

Email the blocking admin using the contact link in the toolbox... except the admin doesn't seem to have an email link set-up. Ha, easy, I'll add a note to his talk page... oops, can't because of the ban. Contact another admin involved with the JackP ban, to pass on a request to stephen? Nope, it seems that every admin mentioned hasn't got an email contact...

Ahhh, so what? If I see something I have to change/add, I'll just ask someone in that article's discussion page to change it for me, probably just good courtesy until I get the hang of the place... except the ban isn't just articles, it includes discussion pages too.

So I'm left with this page to vent to an audience of none, and an unblock request which will probably be rejected because JackP sent four in one day. (Apparently, "getting the point" not a big feature in his make up.)

So that's been my day. How was yours? -- 203.57.68.13 04:05, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

I've unblocked in good faith that Jack is no longer assigned to this address. Please register an account to prevent this happening again. --Stephen 1-800-STEVE 09:50, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
