We see you have made some changes to this page. That is perfectly legal. This is a private, non government website. ANYONE CAN EDIT IT!!!!!! Some of your thoughts were NOT TRUE. Your threats are false. Are you so sure that the federal government even cares about some little webpage while they are a country at war? Especially on the federal level. We know they have more important issues to deal with. You also claim to know exactly who did this. If it is because you use a simple website to find there IP address and it's in the same area that the so called guilty person live, you think it is them. Well, they might have had a friend edit the webpage which is perfectly legal. ANYONE CAN. We are not sure you understand that. Just because an IP is from an area that is close to the person does not mean it was that person. What if they are using a proxy server? That is like thinking since your IP is from Tokyo, Japan we must assume that you are being routed there from Yokosuka and probably on the Fitzgerald itself. Companies have been found editing their own wiki page to take away the truth and make them "look better". That is frowned upon and there is no honor in that. Maybe if something was done then this would have not happened. The point is your false threats are not hiding the truth from being known. You could have done something and now fear for your own job. There will be dedicated websites of this coming soon or maybe there already are. You tried to hide the truth. You thought it did. You thought it was over. We bet you regret that decision. Your edits were appropriate. The article is about a ship, not its personnel, and unsourced gossip about its officers or crew (even if true) have no place on Wikipedia. While anyone can edit it, those edits have to be within the bounds of Wikipedia policy and law, include principles which prohibit invasion of privacy and defamation. You have done the right thing here. Kablammo 16:41, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
