[edit] gum
Hi, I like the changes you are making at the article, please carry on. However, I have one slightly different opinion regarding "The recent loosening of the ban on chewing gum is part of these efforts.". Just wish to discuss with you before your IP address changes. The whole irony of the ban story is that it became a bargaining chip for the USS-FTA. In my opinion, the FTA is the only real reason why s'pore govt. loosen the ban, other reasons are really just face-saving excuses. :D -- 69.234.33.199 12:19, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
- I don't mean to interrupt your editing, and not going to put POV on the article. I jsut found it amusing the manner in which governments (both S'pore and US) make decisions and how they packaged it to the public. Curious to see if others see it in the same way. Happy weekend. :) 69.234.33.199 18:15, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
