[edit] The year of China

China has a lot going for it for 2020.

[edit] Speculation

Does anyone have a clue on what things will be like in the year 2020?? Anything that is currently common but that might become rarer then?? An example of something that was common a while ago but that is now no longer common is audio-cassettes. 66.245.117.53 22:30, 15 May 2004 (UTC)

Such speculation is rarely encyclopedic. Grandmasterka 17:40, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Schapelle Corby reference

Given Schapelle Corby's prison sentence been increased by 5 years to 20 in total; should the reference "Schapelle Corby is to be released from prison for drug trafficking in Indonesia." be moved to article 2025? or left until court proceedings have finished?

If it's a final decision then it should be moved. Grandmasterka 17:40, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Baseball Hall of Fame reference

All of the players mentioned (before my edit) are eligible now. That reference made absolutely no sense whatsoever. WALRUS

[edit] 100th NFL Football Season

Should this be put in, barring unforseen circumstances?

I don't see why not, it's very unlikely the NFL will shut down before then. Grandmasterka 17:40, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Contradiction with another article

When I read this, theare was a contradiction with the Voyager 2 article. The article says that Voyager 2 is expected to end transmissions in 2030, wheras here it says 2020, can someone verify this?

[edit] Template?

Is there a template for future-year articles? I just made a change in the article's structure because I didn't find anything about templates, so I decided to proceed, but just in case, I'm asking. --maf 12:51, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Predictions

The fact that The Guardian produced a series of magazines in 2004 about what life might be like in 2020 is not a prediction. IanUK 15:33, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Osama Bin Laden's Prophecy/Prediction/Expectation

I was watching a television show about Al-Qaeda on SBS Australia television last week, and on the show they said that Osama Bin Laden has given a date, that he expects that the ruler of the free world (the United States of America) will be under Islamic caphite. The show was origionally aired in the UK. Should this be added to "Confirmed but unscheduled events" or "Predicted or expected events"? Or not at all? --Brenton.eccles 11:04, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What?

"PNM Implode island of Trinidad & Tobago, causing it to sink"

Seriously...what?!

[edit] Unnecessary

I took out the sentance "Wow. Good job. ( to be honest nothing like that will ever happen again. :)" from the 20's party thing. Anyways it's silly 'cause it will happen again... in 3030, or 4040 until (insert world destruction of choice) happens.

[edit] Yahoo

Should the "Yahoo Inc 25th birthday" be moved to anniversaries rather than be in events? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.100.19.220 (talk) 07:39, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
