[edit] Reverting changes

I undid the removal of the wild card standings. No reason was given for the removal. Fbdave 03:04, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Alright, here's the reason. Yes, I am aware that the template passed TfD. However, although the template hasn't been deleted, it still serves no purpose in the article. Here we are a month into the season and the Wildcard standings aren't relevant now. Why include them? It takes up too much space to include something that has no relevance or importance in May. In September, it will grow more important, but right now this template doesn't do any good by being included in the article and therefore should be removed from the articles until the template becomes more relevant.
Is there truly any reason to keep this as of right now? --Ksy92003 03:19, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Both MLB.com and foxsports.com list wild card standings. Fbdave 04:20, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
And? They're official websites. They have to have those standings. It doesn't take up any space because it's an option that somebody can select to view. On Wikipedia, it isn't an option. If we are gonna have it on the article, then we have to put it there and take up loads of space. You can either see it or you don't. You can't decide for yourself if you want to see it or not if you go to the article. You get my point?
Besides the fact that you saw it on two other sites, do you have any reasons why the wild card standings should be included? --Ksy92003 05:03, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Perhaps we need to include them as {{2007 NL Wild Card standings}} so that someone can choose to view it.Fbdave 13:14, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Or shall we have a vote to decide if the Wild Card standings should be included? Hornberry 15:19, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disabled list

I have started italicizing players on the disabled list in the statistics. I feel that this is important information. Fbdave 22:29, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
