What is the purpose of this page? It appears to look like current standings. I am questioning the neccisity of this page. Yanksox 00:01, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Some of the other countries or leagues have pages for each year. See Category:2001 in ice hockey. Other sports have pages for each year too. For example, the Canadian Football League has 1999 CFL season. As a hockey fan, I'd like to see more info added in to this page though, maybe league mvp, top draft picks, or other notable news.
