Unlike other leagues within the NCAA, the Ivy League does not play a league tournament for a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Rather, they send the regular season league champion. The 2008 winner was Cornell, who snapped a 19 year streak of the Ivy League sending either Penn or Princeton to the tournament.
Cornell would be humbled in the first round, losing to Stanford.
