It is reproduced in Clive Hirschhorn: Gene Kelly, W.H. Allen, London, 1984, ISBN 0-491-03182-3 pp.88-89 where it is used by the author to illustrate the artist in one of his most celebrated dance routines.

• It is of a resolution substantially inferior to the original.
• The image is of particular note, in featuring a dance sequence between a human and an animated figure.
• The image illustrates a scene from the only film for which Gene Kelly was nominated for the Academy Award of Best Actor.

This is a copyrighted image that has been released by a company or organization to promote their work or product in the media, such as advertising material or a promotional photo in a press kit.
