1991 BA

1991 BA is the designation given to an asteroid which, on January 18, 1991, passed within 160 Mm (100,000 mi) of Earth. This is roughly a little less than half the distance to the Moon. 1991 BA is approximately 9 m (30 ft) in diameter. It follows a highly eccentric (0.668), moderately inclined (2.1°) orbit of 3.06 years duration, ranging between 0.699 and 3.516 AU from the Sun (semi-major axis of 2.108 AU).
