[edit] All-Star Game
The 54th playing of the midsummer classic between the all-stars of the American League (AL) and National League (NL) was held on July 6, 1983, at Comiskey Park. The game resulted in the American League defeating the National League 13-3. The game occurred exactly 50 years to the date of the first All-Star game. The game is best remembered for Fred Lynn's third inning grand slam. As of 2007, it is the only grand slam in All-Star Game history.
