1982 Federation Cup (tennis)

The 1982 Federation Cup was the 20th edition of the most important competition between national teams in women's tennis. 31 nations participated in the tournament, which was held at the Decathlon Club in Santa Clara, CA, United States, from 19-25 July. The United States defeated West Germany in the final, giving the USA their 7th consecutive and 11th overall title.
