The 1978 European Cup Final was a football match which took place at Wembley Stadium, London on 10 May 1978. The match was played between Liverpool F.C. of England and Club Brugge K.V. of Belgium. Liverpool won the match 1–0 to win the European Cup for the second season in a row. In a dour game, Liverpool beat Club Brugge with a single goal by Kenny Dalglish.
