From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A 1966 magazine advertisement for the AMC Ambassador. The ad is marketing the vehicle. It serves as an example of how American Motors promoted the redesigned models in an attempt to move them to a more upscale market segment. No longer just a producer of economy cars, the new Ambassador was a luxurious model in a reasonable size and at a much lower price than the competition.
