- Pole position: Jim Clark - 1:28.5
- Fastest Lap: Jim Clark - 1:28.5
- Remembered as one of the great Grands Prix as Brabham ans Surtees fought out a duel to the line before the race was won by less than a car length.
- This was the second victory for the Honda F1 team and the third was achieved in 2006 Hungarian Grand Prix after 39 years.
- Clark led until the final lap where he ran out of fuel.
