[edit] Welcome

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. For one thing, if you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!
P.S. I have removed the edits you made to the Sligo page, as they were not relevant to this page, but rather to the County Sligo page, where they already exist. --The.Q(t)(c) 15:30, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ballinamore

I see you are currently active on this article. I reverted your first edit as it looked like vandalism - if it wasn't, my apologies. (Sarah777 (talk) 11:23, 5 December 2007 (UTC))

[edit] County Carlow

That was some series of edits there! It is best to use "preview" to test links before saving them. Regards Sarah777 (talk) 20:19, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] January 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from County Wexford. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit] Towns and villages in County Limerick

Hi. I took these out of the Limerick article as it's about the city not the county. Feel free to add links to County_Limerick#Towns_and_villages Cheers. Lozleader (talk) 14:46, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Towns and Villages in County Leitrim

I've reverted the changes you made to the list of Towns and Villages in County Leitrim back to the layout I put up there on 29 May 2008.

My layout may not be according to the Manual of style, but at least it included the towns/villages of Dromahair, Drumsna, Drumkeeran, Keshcarrigan, Leitrim village, Roosky, and the county town of Carrick-on-Shannon, all of which you removed today. The list as I reinstituted it also does not include Clogher (which is in County Tyrone, nor does it include Newtowngore, Kilargue or Lurganboy all of which are redlinks, and which you added today. You appear to have made some similar changes to other articles, which also appear to have been reverted. Perhaps you could try the preview button and check that the article actually exists before linking to it. --The.Q(t)(c) 15:46, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
