  1. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Vehicle tracking system. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Thank you. --Bossi (talkgallerycontrib) 22:05, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
I am not sure who you are but it was your changes that were totally innappropriate. You have removed several links from sites provding helpful information on the subject. I can understand adding a link as we did but removing others is not correct. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 195.54.232.153 (talk) 09:55, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for your response. The link you provided adds no new content over links already available. Additionally, each page of your link is clearly an advertisement, potentially biasing any claims made upon the website. If given the choice between an advert or a website listing a plethora of information without any blatant conflict of interest, I will prefer the latter. --Bossi (talkgallerycontrib) 12:48, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
I see you have done the same thing again, The information provided by the link you added is no more relevant than our information. IF you feel at liberty to remove links then so can i —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.54.232.153 (talk) 16:09, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Please note that I did not add any links of my own, rather I only preserved the one that did not appear to be an advertisement. The recent link you added does not appear to be an advertisement and provides useful information, therefore I will leave it be. If you wish to discuss this further, please post to the article's talk page. Thank you for your contribution. --Bossi (talkgallerycontrib) 22:32, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
