How the Lakers and Nationals be called the Conference champions when the NBA did not use the term conferences unitl 1970. Also the Lakers played in the Central division that season. This was the one season where the NBA had 3 division East, Central and West. Smith03 (talk) 22:03, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
