Pakistan celebrates its tenth year as an independent nation.

Ibrahim Ismail Chundrigar replaced Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, as Prime Minister.

Ibrahim Ismail Chundrigar remained as Prime Minister for only 59 days and was forced to resign. Feroz Khan Noon succeeded Chundrigar as Prime Minister. He was the seventh Prime Minister in 10 years.
