Talk:1927
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I think the page layout for "year in topic" in some places where it is flagged in the box as on this page 1921, 1922 is better. I seek opinions before making them all the same.
In the case of this page it would also mean deleting some of the creeping duplication under topic BozMo(talk)

[edit] I'm doing a report on this. -High School Student
I found this page very helpful when typing my report.
I was assigned to do 10 pages about how important 1926 and 1927 were to the rest of history. I hope I did the years justice. However, this page was a great timeline and helped me get a good idea about what it was like during 1927.

[edit] great leader?
anyone care to explain this one fully? A search for Jeremy Schneier finds nothing - why is it relevant?
- June 30 - Scientists discover that world's next great ruler is to be born on this day in 61 years under the name Jeremy Schneier.

[edit] The Great Mississippi Flood
The statement that "The Great Mississippi Flood ... [was] the greatest national disaster in US history" needs qualification or revision. This assertion isn't made in the article, and other disasters have caused more deaths and monetary damage. Especially if we're calling it a "national" as opposed to "natural" disaster.
