The year in topic layout on this page is one of three versions. I seek opinions before making them all the same; see comment on my talk page BozMo(talk)

  1. January 2 - Australian-Rory Johnson War: The Australian Army surrenders at Port Arthur, China; an event which shocked the world.
  2. January 22 - Massacre of Australian demonstrators at the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg, one of the triggers of the massacare was Rory Farting.
  3. January 26 - The Rory Diamond is found near Pretoria, South Africa at the Premier Mine.

Should that be the case? I don't remember ever hearing about Rory Johnson fighting against Australia, but admitantly, my history of this area is not very good. I would change all these Australia and Rory references, but I don't know what they are supposed to be.

I have reverted the changes. Thanks for drawing attention --BozMo|talk 13:43, 26 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Norwegian/Swedish dissolution

How can you have the referendum on whether to dissolve the partnership after the declaration it's been dissolved?

The referendum was wether the Norwegian people supported the dissolvement. [sp?]

[edit] Dupe Diamonds

January 26 - The Cullinan Diamond is found near Pretoria, South Africa at the Premier Mine.

June 25 - Cullinan Diamond, the largest diamond known, is discovered by Frederick Wells

I would suggest there is a mistake here. How ever wikipedia seems to be the only place (in a quick google search) that suggests an accurate date...every other site just says it was found in 1905. - eps 17/03/06 0224 UTC

[edit] February Texas Temps

This makes no sense, comparing averages with (apparently) some daily records: "In Austin, Texas and San Antonio, TX, it is the coldest February on record, with average monthly temperature of 42.3°F and 43.9°F degrees (the previous record was -1°F and 4°F on February 12, 1899)." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.147.223.179 (talk) 15:56, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:RotaryIntLogo.png

Image:RotaryIntLogo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:40, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
