[edit] Largest gang

This is only heresay. But I can say that I never heard of MS13 when I was growing up in the 70's. But... 18 Has been around longer than that. We we were not sitting idle before than. We are world wide. Not just in El Salvadore or in the Latin American countries. But in the whole world. If such quotes are being given let's give some reliable sources here and where we can find them. Cause all sources are unreliable unless we can prove the source. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tiny18 (talk • contribs) 05:32, 22 November 2006.

I’m going to go ahead and remove the “largest gang in the U.S.” claim (although doubtless someone will try + reinstate it). The L.A. Times article referenced has the headline “Southern California’s Largest Gang,” but that’s ten years old, anyway. Being SoCal’s doesn’t make it the whole U.S.’s biggest—the thing that actually reminded me to edit this article was seeing some new 18th Street graffiti (I think—I was in a moving vehicle) but for the most part, I haven’t heard anything about 18th Street other than their wars in Central America for quite sometime. They certainly don’t seem as widespread as 13 nationwide. —Wiki Wikardo 00:56, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

The big 18 has been around for a long time and as people know we don't get along with no one but the 18. We still are known to be causing the enemigas get shook just by hearing 18. To rebutle against wiki wikardo in his statement you hear 18 street in the news and the papers as you hear of soldados putting in work. All i got to say is that we are the largest gang in the world we go world wide. I dont hear of any gang doing that so it will remain like that until they knock us down which in this case its impossible. "Im down for the 13 but live for the xv3" stated by Wreck from that big 18 defboy clica. the 18 street gang is the first and only gang to sucessfully create a world wide 18 street. To all the homies throw them E's in the air and fuck the enemigas. By Sinner from SSXV3ST in cudahy califas.

[edit] Gang Founder Raymond

Not much is known on the guy but it would be good to find out, after all, no gang or anything forms on its own, duh! He is most likely dead by now. Certainly he was not alone.

It's up to you to provide reliable sources if you wish to add content related to "Raymond" to the article. --NeilN talkcontribs 00:31, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
And missy, its up to you to give me time to sort things out, not just vandalize things! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.99.3.174 (talk) 20:46, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
