The 189th Infantry Brigade is an Infantry Brigade of the United States Army. It is based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. It is subordinate to the First Army.

The unit is responsible for training selected Soldiers,Sailors,Airmen,and Marines in the Active and Reserve componet of the United States Armed Forces & [[Army National Guard|National Guard].

The brigade was redesignated & re-missioned several times. In 1999 the 189th was activated in Ft Bragg, North Carolina. Deactivated and again activated at Ft Bragg in Dec 2006.

  • 1st Battalion, 311th Regiment
  • 2nd Battalion, 311th Regiment
