[edit] Practice and Practise
Hello! I've noticed your changes to Kendo and Tai chi chuan, where you changed 'practice' to 'practise'. Both spellings are accurate, but in general changing from American to British spelling (or vice versa) is frowned upon. The general rules for this can be found in the Wikipedia Manual of Style at this link National varieties of English. Basically, unless the article is specifically about a American or an international subject, the convention is to leave the national variant spelling of the words alone -- stay with the preference of the original article writer. I'm not going to revert your changes, but you may want to keep the Manual of Style prescriptions in mind for the future. If you have any questions about this, don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page, or here. Thanks for listening! -- ArglebargleIV (talk) 23:04, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
