I am NEVER going to delete that 22 out of 125 did not put him on top 5. Why should it be? It proves the media bias point to ANYONE with common sense. I do not understand why you want to delete it.

Your contention is unsupported for multiple reasons, as I noted. Whitlock refers only to Barkley badmouthing Kobe about game 6. Whitlock says nothing about general media bias, and adds that Barkley suggests that Kobe belongs on everyone's top 5. You aren't willing to discuss your changes. Why should we accept your edits? Did you read the quote young boy?? http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/sports/14558869.htm

"Barkley's seasonlong Kobe griping, in my opinion, cost Kobe MVP votes. He finished fourth in the voting and should've finished no worse than second."

So let me get this straight. Whitlock's opinion is that Barkley's opinion unfairly influences the general media's opinion (that's not 1 but 3 POV's). Barkley supposedly has enormous sway over the rest of the media (who apparently aren't able to formulate their own opinions unless they hear from Grand Poobah Barkley first). Yet over 80% of the media still included Bryant on their ballots. How does that indicate Barkley's influence, let alone a "general media bias"? Cite Whitlock directly, as in "LA Times columnist Jason Whitlock suggested..." Maybe, just maybe, the members of the media didn't think Kobe deserved the MVP for reasons other than Barkley yapping on TV. Simishag 21:08, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

I can't believe you are even arguing this man, are you that desperate to save steve nash?? Seriously, you are going way overboard here. IT is called common sense first off. BARKELEY said kobe does not deserve to be left off ballot, AND whitlock has said barkeley cost kobe mvp votes. Enough man, you are not thinking straight, just letting you know that right now. 80% sucks. It should've been 100% are you smoking something??? Do you really think kobe is not CLEARLY top 5 mvp?? He is top 2 behind LEBron. EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE HAD HIM ON THE BALLOT, maybe maybe you suck man seriously. You really suck if you think kobe is not top 5 MVP candidate.

This is not a Lakers fanboy site. You sound like User:Hganesan trying to hide under an IP address. We're not fooled. Whether Kobe "deserves" to be on the ballot is POV. Simishag 21:18, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Hey fool it is no nash fan site either get that nash lover? Whether or not NASH deserves it is POV too. Get that in your head.
