The article on XyWrite was indeed confused (IBM released no version of XyWrite), but it was correct in saying that Signature was released by XyQuest. The program was to have been released by IBM but it was released by XyQuest. Most of the manuals are designed for (and probably by) IBM with "XyQuest" stickers covering most of the "IBM" logos.
