Attention:

This IP address, 159.83.4.148, is registered to County of Los Angeles, and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

[edit] FINAL WARNING

Please do not remove content from Wikipedia
You have recently removed content from Wikipedia without reason, after having already been warned about such behaviour. This is now your final warning, and any further vandalism will result in you being blocked from editing Wikipedia.

PWdiamond 03:31, 22 December 2006 (UTC) ___

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. Titoxd(?!?) 03:32, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Morocco page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Coemgenus 20:51, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] March 2007

This is your last warning. The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Mel Blanc, you will be blocked from editing. TedFrank 23:19, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, please ignore this warning

Please do not delete content from articles on Wikipedia, as you did to Emerald tree boa. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for test edits. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Corpx 18:46, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] October 2007

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Cockroach, you will be blocked from editing. Dyanega 23:15, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] November 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Lawndale High School, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Lawndale High School was changed by 159.83.4.148 (c) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2007-11-03T23:37:31+00:00 . Thank you. [edit] April 2008

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Heliac (talk) 23:29, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wikipedia. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. [edit] Rebuttal to false accusations of vandalism

The two warnings above are completely unwarranted. See the edit I made to ! (disambiguation). Look at the pages whose links I added, and you will see that my edit was absolutely not vandalism. Heliac gave me a Draconian warning (Template:uw-delete4im - my only warning) not to "delete or blank page contents or templates". Check my edit to confirm that I did not delete anything.

I attempted to explain this on Heliac's talk page, but Heliac reverted my comment, claiming it was vandalism.

Then I added a note to my own talk page explaining the situation. Heliac reverted my explanation from my own talk page, again identifying my edit as vandalism.

Next, Heliac added the second warning, this time saying that my "recent edit removed content from Wikipedia." I don't know if this warning was intended to refer to my talk page edits or if it was meant as a slight softening of the original harsh warning. In any case, Heliac is the only one who removed any content. I did not remove anything from Wikipedia. I have also never vandalized anything.

To better judge for yourself, see Heliac's contributions and talk. Be sure to check the talk history since Heliac reverts warnings, clarifications, and complaints. Also see Heliac's log entries which show that Heliac was blocked for "Disruptive editing: Random reverting, misuse of various processes, ignoring warnings." and the discussion in which Heliac's request for rollback privilege was denied. Heliac later received the rollback privilege, but it was removed within less than a week due to gross misuse. See the Administrators' noticeboard discussion of Heliac's abuse which resulted in revocation of the privilege.

The effect of all of this? It's made me extremely reluctant to do any editing, for fear of being blocked for innocent acts. It seems to me that this is not what Wikipedia is supposed to be about.

Please note -- this IP belongs to a public library, and my comments apply to the only edit which I personally made with this IP on 25 April 2008 and the response to it. Any other edits made by this IP were done by other library patrons.

[edit] June 2008

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Purple Heart. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. -MBK004 19:24, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
