[edit] Edit Summaries
Hi. I've noticed you don't use the edit summary field to describe the edits you're making to pages. Edit summaries are important, since it allows people to get an idea of what you're doing to an article when looking at your editing history. If you take a look at that link, you'll note that the only edits with any notation are the ones where you vandalized an article. In the future, if you don't want people to assume you're vandalizing again, you should summarize what you're doing.
It's easy. When you reply to this comment on your talk page, there will be a box below the one in which you type. It will say Edit summary (Briefly describe the changes you have made) above the box. Type something in there, like "I'm replying to your comment."
Thanks. Ironiridis 21:04, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Why we keep reverting your edits
You need to understand that your edits, indicating a certain doctor feels a certain way generally about a type of illness, don't apply directly to Tony Snow. See, everything on Wikipedia has to be proven. What you're writing there is called Synthesis. WP:SYN deals specifically with this issue. In a nutshell, it means you're taking factual point A (Tony has colon cancer that has reached his liver), and factual point B (Dr. Brawley from CNN says only 10-15% of patients "do well" in this situation), and synthesizing a "false fact" C (Dr. Brawley believes Tony Snow will not do well).
In reality, there doesn't seem to be any place where Dr. Brawley has written or said that Tony Snow has a 10-15% chance of doing well. So, the issue at hand here is that whatever Dr. Brawley says is irrelevant because it does not apply directly to Mr. Snow.
Your argument that it applies because he's talking about Tony's situation falls flat because patients can be vastly different. If Dr. Brawley chooses to make a generalization about all of the patients he's seen go this route, he may, but he has not personally diagnosed Mr. Snow and Mr. Snow is the subject of the article.
If you take a look at this article from CNN, you'll find that your quoted figures are wrong (Dr. Brawley actually says "5-10%") and that he also states openly that he "couldn't speak directly to Snow's situation". Ultimately, that means his comments are invalid until he can make a personal diagnosis from reviewing all the facts about Tony Snow's case, directly from Tony Snow's doctor.
I do hope this clears it up for you. Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Ironiridis 23:05, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to September 20, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. • Anakin (contribs • complaints) 19:16, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
