[edit] Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my Talk page or you can type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome!

Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian.Skinnyweed 14:56, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Really

I'd like to suggest that you become a registered user. You're clearly someone who cares about improving the project, and you're doing it well. DS 13:01, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. ST47 11:23, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

On the other hand, ST47, it is perfectly true and also rather amusing.--Vox Humana 8' 13:58, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] lecturer

I moved your contribution to the bottom of the UK section in its own category. It would be useful if you could add a sentence or two explaining what a lecturer is in this context, rather than just say that it's "used". Is it an academic role, or preaching or...? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jaibe (talkcontribs) 20:55, 12 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Wikipedia needs more people like you!

Hi there! I have just seen your contributions - very impressive! You really ought to register, as you have made more constructive edits than some admins... By the way, seeing as you are clearly interested in church music, you may be interested in the following MySpace music pages (which I run), dedicated respectively to César Franck and J. S. Bach--Vox Humana 8' 13:51, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
