[edit] Re: Lists

They should all go really. I think I'm going to try and delete some of the List of xx rock bands for a while, then I might start AfDing the metal lists again - I got sick of CircaFuciX's (or whatever he's called) canvassing, he basically told about five editors "Hey, go here and make sure these four metal band lists don't get deleted for me. Thanks." Btw, I've put a prod on this - I don't like the AfD process that much, so I'll see if that will work on some of the lesser-noticed lists. Funeral 13:47, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Ugh, yesterday was perhaps my worst day on AfD ever. I AfD'd 5 articles and I had withdraw nom on all of them because Chubbles managed to find out that they were notable. Very embarrassing and very damaging. ScarianCall me Pat 14:05, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
I just had a look around, I'll AfD the List of Christian hardcore punk & metalcore bands first, then the Christian metal bands... That's just pathetic, metalcore is just a subgenre of heavy metal, but for some reason they're not included in the Christian metal bands list. (See here: [1]). Funeral 14:07, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, sure. I'm starting another AfD right now, so give me 5-10 minutes and then I'll get on it. Funeral 14:30, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Re: I would AfD it but no doubt someone will find something that makes it worth keeping. The article is heavily biased and pure crap. No real sources. No validation of claims... Get funners to touch it. I'm definitely not :-D ScarianCall me Pat 15:43, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

I've tagged and removed some of the weasel words. I'll prod it in a few days if nothing happens. Funeral 15:55, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Chubbles if some of the entries have articles then feel free to put them back in. But do not undermine the list as a valid resource by adding in a bunch of high school bands and never-will-be's. 156.34.212.152 (talk) 14:51, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Christian metal bands - These better be deleted, I was so annoyed when the punk AfD failed. :-/ Btw, keep an eye on the Circafuci guy... He might start canvassing again. Funeral 15:34, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
[2] - He edits that list quite often, and he thinks lists are useful... I'll keep an eye on him, just in case. Funeral 15:48, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] consensus?

Mind providing the link that shows consensus for this?--Rockfang (talk) 03:02, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Ask Admin BigHaz. He took care of nom'ing all the Metallica songs that weren't singles for AfD. The concensus was redirect them all. If you look at all the Metallica albums... none of the non-singles exist anymore. Every song used to have its own article. Which was just superfluous overkill and useless. BigHaz can explain the history. 156.34.212.152 (talk) 03:05, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.--Rockfang (talk) 06:28, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re:

Well, I could care less about AGF at this point, so I won't begrudge you that. Bad faith is assumed with every page that is created in the areas I edit most heavily. But it sure would be nice to get some BRD out of you; when you revert and provide the exact same explanation each time, I feel like I'm slamming my head against a brick wall. [edit] Trey Anastasio (band) and Trey Anastasio Band are two separate groups.

Trey Anastasio's original solo band performed from 1999-2004, and did not have a name. Trey's second band, with a completely new lineup, toured in 2005 as 70 Volt Parade and in 2006 as Trey Anastasio Band. Trey has rarely performed at all the past two years as he's faced his drug problems. Milchama (talk) 00:52, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
