[edit] Additions of http://.netpractice.org
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.--Hu12 (talk) 00:38, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, one or more of the external links you added to the page Anti-money laundering do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Corpx (talk) 09:07, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Best Practice Community sites
Apologies if the editor saw the previous link breaking the Wikipedia guidelines - I understand your point. However, I hope you will accept this new link letting visitors know about AML trends which is very relevant to this page. I have read the guidelines, and as you will see, this is no link to personal web sites, or web sites with which I am affiliated, or link to attract visitors to a web site to promote a product. I am a member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, and like many others, I appreciate independent comments on AML topics like this one. It is from an independent analyst with no registration or other "no-no"s I found in the guideline. I therefore hope you will allow this link, as it adds notable value to this subject.
