Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to StarCraft professional competition. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. [edit] starcraft professional competition
The sections that I removed are poorly written, heavily biased, inaccurate, and need to either be deleted or completely rewritten. They certainly are not up to the standards in the rest of the article. Since I do not have time to rewrite them currently, I chose to delete them rather than mislead unwary readers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.180.154.144 (talk) 19:20, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
No information > bad information. If you have no expertise in the topic, then please do not advise others on how to edit the article. All the statements are absolutely fallacious and FBH does not even warrant being mentioned with all the other players on the list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.180.154.144 (talk) 21:20, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- Interestingly, on Wikipedia you don't need "expertise in the topic" to write articles - you just need to cite sources, which I've done now. The new sections are inline with WP policies such as WP:NOTABILITY and WP:CITE. It appears you have the bias not me, and comments such as "All the statements are absolutely fallacious" are patently false, since it is irrefutable that Stork plays Protoss etc... I suggest you take a breather, back off your deletions for a couple hours and then re-evaluate these sections once another editor of the article has had a chance to look at my versions. I'll be doing the same. Cheers. de Bivort 21:31, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

- I'm glad we've reached some stability here. I've taken out the bits you mentioned as POV. Just FYI, I didn't write that stuff originally, so I have no loyalty to those words. I had assumed they were true because, as you mentioned, I am not an expert on this topic. So, if you are, please feel free to tweak the language to reduce POV or misleading statements. I do not plan on updating the rankings on a monthly basis. Other editors have done this periodically, but by putting dates with the citations, the text gains some longevity. As for putting the sections in order of the player's rise to prominence, I agree that is a good order. Please place Stork and FBH where you think they should appear. de Bivort 22:16, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

- Your revisions to the article look good! I noticed some of them were reverted along the way though. As a tip, you will receive much less resistance to edits if you include an edit summary, describing the edit. Of course, registering an account is a good way to go too - it seems like you would be a big help to the project. de Bivort 23:35, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 21:54, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
