- OK, that makes sense, and I've modified the lead of the article to that effect. I'd rather keep the "bulk permeability" in there, simply because that is the best description of what is happening (i.e., changing the rates which fluids can pass through the medium). However, the permeability of the entire formation is not modified—really just the permeability to the borehole. Edit the article if you feel these changes don't work (I'm no expert at HF—I just know what it is). +mt 05:18, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
