[edit] January 2008
This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to User talk:136.2.1.101. Snowolf How can I help? 14:34, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- The right of blanking talk page is part of WP policy, but whether it applies to IP's talk pages too is not agreed upon. I'm not in favour of such an extension. Snowolf How can I help? 14:41, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
stop deleting your talk page, the policy does not include IP addresses--Lerdthenerd (talk) 14:49, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for clearing this up. He continues to make personal attacks to me stating something about the WP policy about IP talk vandalism. --AMRDeuce (talk) 14:53, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
-
- I may have not been clear. What I meant is that it's not clear consensus whether the right to blank our own talk page is for IPs too and not only registered users. "The above rules do not apply to a user's own talk page.". I maintain that as IP, you're not allowed to. Best regards, Snowolf How can I help? 14:56, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

- Thank you, that's more helpful. I have not made any personal attacks, on the contrary AMRDeuce has deleted some quite civil comments I made on his talk pages where I objected to his reversion of my comment on Snowolf's talk page. 136.8.152.13 (talk) 15:01, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Scottish Government
Hi, I notice you are editing a lot of pages to change mentions of "Scottish Executive" to "Scottish Government". I'm concerned that this involves a fair bit of "re-writing history", as the title "Scottish Government" wasn't officially used until 2007. Any mention of the "Scottish Government" doing things prior to this are therefore inaccurate. It was the "Scottish Executive" at the time.--Escape Orbit (Talk) 17:37, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Agreed - please look before you leap. Publications made by the then Executive should not be re-titled. Ben MacDuiTalk/Walk 09:34, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] List of Sort Codes of the United Kingdom
Do not keep reinstating my earlier comments at User talk:Ian3055 and do not accuse me of vandalism for removing them. Your behaviour is now bordering on harrassment. Chrisieboy (talk) 12:18, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Chrisieboy (talk) 12:21, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- I am now reporting you for breach of the 3RR on this article. Chrisieboy (talk) 12:27, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

- User Chrisieboy has also deleted my comments on a third user's talk page (Ian3055), and appears to be intent on a course of disruptive behavior. This is a lie, I have not deleted your comments as you are perfectly well aware, I only deleted my own. Chrisieboy (talk) 13:49, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

- Your version is clearly not an improvement and removes information. You have made these changes without reaching consensus and against the wishes of two other editors. Chrisieboy (talk) 13:57, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- This would be more helpful on the article's talk page. I'm still unclear as to what your problem is, and I have explained why my edits were in line with policy. Reaching prior consensus is not a requirement for every edit. 136.8.152.13 (talk) 13:59, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Land Rover and Jaguar
Hi! I've noticed that you've reverted Land Rover's and Jaguar's parent company from Tata Motors back to Ford several times. As your IP address is registered to Ford I guess you're well placed to know. Can you clear up for us whether the transfer from Ford to Tata has taken place yet and, if not, when it is scheduled to happen? -- Timberframe (talk) 15:46, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- [From my talk page] The sale is agreed, but has not completed. Ford remains the owner of Jaguar/Land Rover until the sale is completed. 136.8.152.13 (talk) 15:55, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the update on the present situation - I agree with you that until the sale is completed it is premature to show the parent company as Tata, even if it's only a matter of time before that becomes the case. Any idea when the sale will be completed and it will be appropriate to show Tata as the parent company? -- Timberframe (talk) 16:03, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
