[edit] Violet Dickson

There probably is more information: I have used what I could find. If you have access to more information, please add it! Could you give me specific examples of the one-sidedness/POV so I can see about tackling it? Many thanks Jasper33 21:28, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Well it just seems that...

Yeah I do appreciate your effort, and it was difficult to find any more than what you wrote online. My objection is only based on the fact that the article makes Violet Dickson sound like a perfect person. However, no one is perfect, there ought to be criticisms of here recorded somewhere. I have no other arguments, but if you know more about the subject, it would contribute to a better all-rounded article.

Thank you.

I'm not sure I quite understand what makes her seem like a perfect person: sure, she was called Umm Kuwait and hajjiyah, and had a scholarship named after her, which suggests that she was respected a great deal; she dealt with big cheeses as part of her life as a govt man's wife and thereafter presumably on her own account. The title of one of her biographies, Umm Saud's Fascinating Life suggests the tone of the book. If I'd found criticsms of her I would have put them in - it's just that I didn't. And here's a thought - maybe she was a perfect person ... Not beyond the bounds of possibility, is it? ;-) Jasper33 10:12, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Yeah I appreciate your effort, it was just a little nitpick. Thanks again.
