[edit] Vandal Editing of cited content by 130.63.161.16
Please do not insert words or replace words to change the meaning , from cited content as you have been doing to many articles such as Special:Contributions/130.63.161.16, as this violates wikipedia conventions .

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Demographics of Pakistan do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'geocities\.com' (link(s): http://www.geocities.com/paklanguage/opinion.html(/ref)) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 23:43, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Chiniot
This is an interesting edit. Although much of the design of the Taj Mahal was Muslim in origin and high ranking officials were responsible for its design and themes, it is know that much of the workforce were Hindu because many of the masons marks bear their names. The sources I've read say that the workforce came from all over the subcontinent. Do you have a source as to exactly who believes they were from Chiniot? - I'd be very interested to read it. From a technical point of view, we don't insert unsourced material into sourced sentences on wikipedia, so that they look like they come from a source - I have the Koch book and that page doesn't specifically mention craftsmen from Chiniot. Many thanks. --Joopercoopers (talk) 07:06, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply - I have read this in several books(Discovery guide to Pakistan, In fact, i read in 3 or 4 books over the years) and have heard it from Chinioti elders on many occasions - Please would you look up where the claim is made in the discovery guide to pakistan and/or provide the other books where this claim is made, so we can accurately report it by page number. Because Kock, Dessai, Asher and Begley are academic sources which make no mention of the craftsmen coming from this area - such claims must be backed up with a source of similar quality - I'm afraid the word of elders on the subject isn't something we can take into account on wikipedia - WP:CITE provides good guidance. Kind regards --Joopercoopers (talk) 00:01, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Islamabad, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --Enric Naval (talk) 00:46, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
The changes that you made to Islamabad were not backed by the inline source[1]. Notice that if an inline reference is right behind a sentence or a paragraph, it means that the sentence is "attributed" to that reference. Please don't change sourced sentences without first checking its sources to make sure that you are introducing unsourced claims --Enric Naval (talk) 00:46, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
The recent edit you made to Kashmir constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks. —Angelo De La Paz (talk) 21:33, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
