[edit] re: edits to Maine South High School

I would like to explain why your edits were reverted, and why you were warned for vandalism:

1. You changed the average ACT score to 21.0, then 20.3. The source cited reported an average ACT of 24.3.

2. You then changed the graduation rate to 73.0%. The report cites a graduation rate of 93.4%.

3. User:JaGa reverted your edits, and restored the proper data.

4. You then made some edits which, on the surface, gave the impression that you were returning to vandalism.

So, I am sorry that after either making some pretty poor mistakes, you did in fact make some correct edits. That was my fault, and I do apologize for that mistake. I am removing the last vandalism warning.

That being said, please do not use a passive-aggressive approach by saying that it is my fault for you deciding to stop editing. You can choose not to join this project and make constructive edits, or you can choose to be a phenomenal contributor. That choice is ultimately yours to make. I have admitted my mistakes, and I hope that whomever this is, you are adult enough to admit when you make mistakes, and thus lead people into thinking that you might in fact be vandalizing an article with a long history of vandalism.

I urge you to continue editing, though I do hope that just as editors need to try and look at what you do, you will likewise learn to look through the eyes of other editors. Ultimately, that may be among the more educational aspects of working here. Best of luck to you. LonelyBeacon (talk) 04:08, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
