School IP address Attention:

This IP address, 129.89.126.148, is registered to University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and may be shared by multiple users of an educational institution. If the institution uses proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

Hello, 129.89.126.148, my name is Auroranorth. Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like our encyclopedia and decide to stay. Thank you very much for creating a username, it's the first step to becoming a respected member of the community. Here are a couple of pages you might find useful. I won't go into great detail here, but if you ever need any help, you can always try Help:Contents. So, the pages:

  • Wikipedia:Your first article - how to construct a great first article!
  • Wikipedia:Cheatsheet - essential in learning about the different buttons you see when you click 'edit this page'.
  • User:129.89.126.148/Sandbox - your very own sandbox where you can fiddle around with the buttons on 'edit this page'.
  • My talk page - if you ever have any questions, edit that page and ask!

I hope you enjoy being a Wikipedian! Always remember to sign your name with the four tildes (~~~~) on any talk page (not in any article) - this will produce your name and date, similar to what will appear at the end of this message. Remember, if you need any help at all, check out Help:Contents, my talk page or the help desk. Or if you like, place {{helpme|YOURPROBLEMHERE}} on your talk page (this page) and someone will swing by soon. Once again, welcome, 129.89.126.148! Auroranorth 12:28, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] September 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove work from Wikipedia pages, like you did to UVM. Such edits may be considered vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please see the sandbox. Auroranorth 12:28, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] UWM history

You persist in trying to remove the Green Gulls from the history of the institution which is now UWM. Last year there was a display of UWM history in the Student Union which prominently featured a Green Gulls letterman's jacket. Why do you persist in making this change, which all other UWM editors concur in restoring whenever you do so? Please respond here, in the appropriate place, rather than simply re-doing the deletion of 46 years of Milwaukee athletic history. --Orange Mike 15:06, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Now you are yanking out the institutional milestones of pre-1956 history. This is unacceptable. Please refrain. --Orange Mike 19:09, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

You persist in doing this, rather a bizarre habit in view of the genuinely constructive work you do on this topic elsewhere. UWM has never denied the past history of the institution, and had a Green Gulls team jacket on display in the Union last year. The information I am trying to preserve is taken directly from the Panthers' own website, and I don't see why you want to remove it. Please respond here and/or on the appropriate articles' talk pages! --Orange Mike 14:41, 26 October 2007 (UTC) (Class of '04)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.

[edit] January 2008

Please cease removing valid information and live wikilinks from the History of UWM article. This is unconstructive, to an extent verging on vandalism. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:10, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
