Posting here from da UF computer lab. Could someone initiate this RFAR for me? Thanx. My account's talk page was protected after I left (User talk:Miltopia). 128.227.195.36 02:04, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, but what exactly do you mean by RFAR? *Cremepuff222* 03:05, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Involved parties

(substitute "admin" for "userlinks" if a party is an administrator)

Confirmation that all parties are aware of the request

Can't, banned for life. Have emailed Fred though, but that was before I decided to go ahead and request this.

Confirmation that other steps in dispute resolution have been tried

None really. There was much deliberation on ANI at some point by some Anomo sock or other back when, but nothing came of it of course. You could try Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Miltopia as the results of that may have relevance.

[edit] Statement by Miltopia

I have been banned forever for being a sockpuppet of a banned editor and I am no such thing. Not much I can say about it as I don't know the evidence linking us, but this seems the proper avenue as the arbcom is troll-free and has checkuser :3 Blu emailed me using the Wikipedia interface; if he did it on his main account he must've logged in. If that triggers checkuser you can check him. Then you can check me, because I logged in to email Fred about this (though to my dismay, my email was blocked too - must be a new feature).

That's all I can say regarding evidence as it is rather difficult to prove that I am NOT something. Perhaps if the case is accepted, even if it's done in private to prevent the need to unblock me and risk MAD TROLLING, I can hear out the evidence and respond in turn? Barring a most unfortunate coincidence, this can't possibly be based on checkuser as that would clear me for sure; Blu can't possibly be in Gainesville Florida (but I am). So it must be based on some very circumstantial "investigation" that, respectfully, I know right now got fouled up somehow, as I am not Blu Aardvark. Eh, I'll repeat, I don't know what this is about but I suspect it's basically Fred being duped by my internet stalker. Sorry.

I do have one more thing to say, and that is regarding the scope of the case should it be accepted. It's your choice and your time to waste as you please, but you'd be wise to limit it to whether or not I am a sockpuppet. If you throw the doors wide open to examining my overall conduct, the result will be the same as it has been on ANI the dozen times certain editors have tried to harass me there; it'll turn out I'm not such a bad guy and they're just being obsessive, things will get nasty, long-time Wikipedians will insult each other and I will not even bother participating. Seriously, there have been so many ludicrous uncivil conversations on me on that board that I replied to once or twice at most that it's ridiculous. So I say: limit the scope and you'll save yourself from having to wade through a bunch of mahooey. Miltopia 02:04, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Clerk notes

  • Bharatveer is currently blocked for a week: he should probably be unblocked to participate in this.
(This area is used for notes by non-recused Clerks.)
