A random check at Category:Articles lacking in-text citations showed that about 80% of the tags are at the top of the page. Pairadox 09:34, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Point taken... Didn't look at the Articles lacking... category before I did that... I just saw it on a couple of pages that I looked at randomly. Yep, you are correct, when you look like that the majority do appear to be at the top. Citations have been added in text now though so no real concern. Thanks.
