[edit] Jehovah's Witnesses Article
The article on Jehovah's Witnesses you are editing has been carefully peer reviewed to avoid strong bias toward or against a particluar point of view. Many of the changes you are making to the article are introducing your own point of view, and will be reverted. Additionally, you are using weasel words to weaken certain phrases. This is also not something that should be done at Wikipedia. If you feel differently, and you wish to discuss the changes, please feel free to add your comments to the article's Discussion page. Thanks! --Willscrlt 11:41, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
No, i am not.
- Thank you for responding to this message. My concerns are as follows. (1) By changing the tone and inflection of several phrases, it softens the meaning, and in other cases the changes make the statements much more absolute. (2) By changing the tone, it introduces a bias or point of view that did not exist in the article before the changes. (3) In several places, additions have been made between existing text and the citation for the text. This implies that the text you have added is covered by the original citation, and the changes may have significantly altered the original citation's meaning. If you wish to add new citations to cover the new information, that is perfect fine -- in fact, it would be terrific! :-) But inserting new text as you have done makes the article less reliable or even contradict the agreed-to peer review findings. For these reasons, I request that you discuss proposed changes in the article's Discussion page before making more changes directly to the article. Thank you for your efforts and your interest. Wikipedia thrives when people take an active part in the site by helping to edit. We all need to be careful in how we go about doing the editing. Have a good day! --Willscrlt 12:05, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
