Življenje in tehnika

"Življenje in tehnika" (Life & Technology) is Slovenian monthly magazine which publishes popular science articles. Its history is already more than 50 years, as first issue was published in 1950 under the name "Ljudska tehnika" (People's Technology). After that in 1952 it was renamed to "Življenje in tehnika" and it is still one of the most read magazines in Slovenia. Magazine focuses mainly on science, technology, medicine, biology, archeology and computer science.

The magazine is published by publisher "Tehniška založba Slovenije", which came out of publisher "Ljudska tehnika". Their first book was published in 1948.
