It does not appear to be the only municipality with a Roma majority in the world - see for example http://www.edrc.ro/recensamant_loc.jsp?regiune_id=875&judet_id=1059&localitate_id=1069, http://www.edrc.ro/recensamant_loc.jsp?regiune_id=503&judet_id=810&localitate_id=856, http://www.edrc.ro/recensamant_loc.jsp?regiune_id=2568&judet_id=2646&localitate_id=2694 and http://www.edrc.ro/recensamant_loc.jsp?regiune_id=875&judet_id=976&localitate_id=997, all in Romania.
