Đình Bảng communal house

Đình Bảng communal house is one of the largest and finest village communal houses in Vietnam. It is located in Đình Bảng village, Từ Sơn district, in the Red River Delta province of Bắc Ninh, 17 km from the nation's capital, Hanoi.
The communal house was constructed in 1700. The construction took 36 years to complete.
Đình Bảng communal house is used for worshiping the Cao Sơn Đại vương (Mountain God), Thủy Bá Đại vương (Water God), and Bạch Lệ Đại vương (Farm God), as well as the six individuals who led the reestablishment of Đình Bảng village in the 15th century after it was devastated by an invasion by the Ming Dynasty. It also functions as the village's meeting hall and holds the village's government office.
