I am removing the "prince" part from Kropotkin. Kropotkin relinquished his title and refused to be acknowledged as nobility during his life. When he visited the USA, he refused many invitations by the bourgeoisie, as he recognized that they were interested in him due to his nobility. It devalues Kropotkin to refer to him by his noble title.

[edit] Brilliant work

I actually have an incomplete English edition of his universal encyclopedia and it is truly great work, rivaling that of contemporary Britannica. Most lithographs of people from areas he visited are made from life before photographs could be incorporated into printing, and the detail on the places is amazing, often including local folklore.--mrg3105mrg3105 03:10, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
