Sir John St. John, 1st Baronet

Sir John St. John, 1st Baronet (15851648) of Lydiard Tregoze and Battersea, Wiltshire, England and Sheriff of Wiltshire from 1632 to 1633.

He was the youngest of five children born to Sir John St. John and Lucy Hungerford. He married twice, first to Anne Leighton, daughter of Sir Thomas Leighton of Feckenham and Elizabeth Knollys. His second marriage was to Margaret (Whitmore) Grubham the widow of Sir Richard Grubham of which there was no issue.

  5. Edward St. John (26 February 1617 – died in the Second Battle of Newbury 1645

  9. Sir Walter St. John 3rd Baronet of Lydiard Tregoze and Battersea, (16223 July 1708) married 1651 Johanna St. John, daughter of Oliver St. John of Longthorpe
