[edit] 19th amendment
As I recall, the GFCW along with other groups such as the WTCU and NAWSA, around the year 1914 officially supported the 19h amendment and it's 2 million members were instrumental in passing the women suffrage ammendment in 1920. Someone more knowledgable should contribute on this, meanwhile I'll add a "see also: 19th amendment" hyper-link.
